Join us alongside other child loss parents to find support, resources, coping strategies, community and time in nature. The goal is that you leave from the day with one more strategy, one more friend, or one more resource that helps you, brings you comfort or brings you hope.

About the event
The day would consist of 4 individual workshop sessions where each person could select subjects they are drawn to. There would be an introduction at 9am, lunch at 11, large group activity at 1, closing at 4pm. You would select four classes/sessions that could include meditation, art, fishing, journaling, healing walk, self directed packet, yoga, Faith talk, small group talk, group project or preserving memories. These workshop sessions provide many ways to remember those we’ve lost through connecting with each other and connecting through creativity, movement, nature and Faith depending on what you choose.
Child care would be provided by several Girl Scout troops. Kids could join parents during opening, lunch, and closing remarks. Families could choose to stay and enjoy the property after the closing ceremony with hiking, swimming, a camp fire and the option of a picinic dinner.
